Should a settlement offer be taken seriously when it is not from the original holder of the loan?
I received a settlement offer letter from Dynamic Recovery Solutions for a portion of the monies I owe to Capital One. Are offers such as these legit? The letter states that if I pay the offer given, that the account will be considered satisfied and closed and a settlement letter will be issued. Does that mean issued to the credit bureau?
