New public record added to account, barely affected score.
Hey everyone, So I had surrendered my car about a year ago and we went through the legal process where they called me to court. I fought it all because I missed Lemon Law statutes by mere months. And it just popped up on my credit report. In the amount they're asking for the car after they sold it. I plan on paying it. However, here's the curious thing... When it hit my credit score, it only dinged 1 point off... Is this normal? I expected a huge drop, but just the one point seems weird. And this has been about 2 months now at least with it on my report. Will the amount of points affected rise, or is this it?
