I have an out of business furniture store saying I have an account open with no credit limit. Help!!
The name of the business is McMahan's Furniture and has been out of business for several years. It is reported that I have an open account with no credit limit. This is damaging my credit score. How can this be removed?

Re: Account

Furniture stores typically don't loan you money directly.  The bank who provided the credit is probably still there.  You need to actually pull your credit report from Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. The website you pull your credit report from will give you options to dispute the account.

While Credit Karma gives you access to some information on your credit report, it does not actually pull a credit report so you cannot dispute anything through it.
