I had a bankrupcy 9 years ago..why hasnt it fallen off my credit report within the 7 years?
I have not been late on any credit payments i have a car payment and morgage..all of these i have never missed a payment..what determnes how long a bankruocy stays on your credit report? Can i get it off sooner?

Unfortunately, bankruptcy stays on your record for 10 years and, no, it can't be taken off sooner. 

But, making all other payments on time like you have is positive information for your credit history.  Keep it up, okay?
