You will have to contact the credit bureaus directly, usually notifying one will go to all 3. Since credit karma uses transunoin I would contact them first and then request a free copy of your credit report from the other two experian and equifax. Also, call the company directly, since it is reporting under you social security number, to make sure it isn't your it could be another lender bought a previous collection account or a company changer their name.

Errors are common on credit reports, which is why we are advised to check all three credit reports annually.  Go to annualcreditreport.com to get copies of all three credit reports.  Look them over very carefully and file disputes on all WRONG information with the credit bureau reporting it.  Do this checkup once a year to make sure all information is correct. Credit Karma is not a credit bureau but an interactive educational site so people can learn how to build and maintain a good credit score.  Please read the articles and utilize the financial tools here so you, too, can build your credit knowledge.
