Here's my problem: We owe like $19,000 & the Journey is $20,000. Is it possible to trade in & buy?
We would really like to get the Journey and we could get up to $15,000 for our trade-in. We want to buy before it sells

You can trade-in and buy, but any remaining balance left owed after your trade-in value for your current vehicle will carry over onto the new auto loan. If you get $15,000 for your trade-in and $19,000 is owed on your current vehicle, then the loan for the Journey will be $24,000 assuming that taxes and possible other fees were included.
