Disputing a credit account
I have a credit card that is reporting past due that should be closed as of 2012 and in collections, however it is reporting my credit limit as $300 and balance as $425 saying that I am past due. This is causing my credit utilization to be at 145% negatively effecting my credit score. What should I do about this? Should I dispute it with the credit bureau that is reporting this? I also just received a collection notice for this same account asking for full payment, what should I do with this?
