Difference in credit karma and identity guard
Why is there a 42 point difference in my credit score between credit karma and Identity Guard
Credit karma has me at 618 credit score and Identity Guard has me at 660

That is quite a difference I see now why it is worth paying $19 a month to get a true credit score

Best regards Sheila Moore

You tossed your money out the window.

The Credit Scores reported by Identity Guard are not even supplied by the Credit Bureau's.   It seems they have some 3rd Party doing it for them.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom and read.

Just another company taking peoples money and handing out useless information.

Hi Sheila, what credit bureau does Identity Guard use to retrieve your score? We provide a TransUnion New Account score. It's important to compare the same score model from the same bureau to have an apples to apples comparison. It's a myth that consumers have one "true" credit score. Every Credit Score just a Number on the wall or just useless, Until ever Credit Score has the Credit Score Model used and the Credit Bureau that is came from with it.

Is the TransUnion New Account Credit Score using  Version 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5?   Please do tell us. and report it on the website,  otherwise you might as well not say what it is, just some generic Credit Score.

So how do we compare the apples to apples if we are not given all the information.

So what kind of apple is that TransUnion New Account score,  is it a Maigold Apple, or Morgan Sweet  apple.   Not all apples are the same.
