So, after a divorce a few years ago (part of which closed out all accounts - joint) I began re-establishing credit by applying for a credit card. I received a modest limit and as I also own my own small business used it for travel (hotels, rental cars, airline, etc). Over the last couple years we've grown and I've added another card and now have a limit over $11K. However, as we've grown, so has travel expenses and now they total about $10K per month - And growing. I pay off the credit cards every week to 10 days, bt still the credit reports pick up my credit ratio as a huge negative, thus keeping my score about 700. I've asked for increases in credit limit to improve the ratio, but have been told that my credit score is limiting any increases. I'm stuck!
