Credit Cards are still on credit report
We have several CC listed in our report. Most of them are closed and have been for years. Why are they still showing up?

If they had a good payment history, they could remain on there for ten years and that is good.  We want all the good reports possible for as long as possible.  If they are not-so-good payment reports, they'll be there for 7 years after the closing date due to that being the length of credit history reported.  They will drop off.
