2 unsatisfied judgments are still on my credit.
I have 2 unsatisfied judgments against me on my credit. They total about $12k. They are about 7 years old and still hanging around. I don't have the money to pay them off in full. My question is, if I start making payments on them, will that change the way they are represented on my report? ie, "in repayment". Or will nothing happen until they are fully satisfied and a judge clears them? I want to buy a house, but I'm being told by friends, that I cannot do that until they are fully paid and removed; which again, I'm being told could take years after they are paid. What is the best recourse to get this situation handled?
