Appraiser is a third party, so no incentive to low ball. In addition, it seems counterintuitive that a loan provider would want you to have a low ball appraisal because then it wouldn't get the loan from you.

I am totally with you on this one. I have excellent credit scores here on CK. I've never had a ticket or an accident and have been licensed and driving for almost 30 years! My insurance rates are rock bottom, yet CK claims my insurance score is very poor. It is absolutely hilarious. I'm not sure how CK got it so incredibly wrong on insurance scores.
