Why can't I open a checking account?
I applied for a new heck in account with chase and was denied by something called chex systems. What is this? Why is it on my credit? How do I resolve it?

Go to www.consumerdebit.com and order your consumer report.  It will tell you why you have been turned down for a checking account when ChexSystems is used.
