Paid less than asked on hospital bill, they accepted payment for 2 months, then sent to collection.
I had a $4000 hospital bill. I didnt pay on it for the first 6 months as I was setting up payment arrangements and they would not agree on something I could afford at the time. I paid $30 for two months which was $120 less than what they were willing to let me pay per month. They cashed the first check and then the bill was sent to collections. My credit score dropped 80 points. What can I do?
