Low APR. Not sure if it's worth it.

I've been with Xceed for about 3 years now. Almost every single month has been a hassle. They do not take payments online, they only take payments over the phone during business hours (with a $5 fee), and to use auto pay, you have to have a banking account with them. C'mon, it's 2017, why am I having to mail in checks to make a payment? Also, you have to pay early because they can take awhile to process your payment and try to stick you with a late fee.

My car is too old to refinance with another company, otherwise I would.

Terrible company to do business with

I have had this auto lender for 2 years and never had a good experience. 1st there was an agent that would call after we were 1 day late and try to scare me into making a payment or they were going to take my car. Then they would not allow me to change my payment due date. I have submitted a change of date request twice and they deny it for petty reasons. Lastly, they add false delinquencies to your credit report. I sent in a dispute for the in accuracies and my credits report improved by 85 points. I regret the day I refinanced with them. DO NOT GO WITH XCEED FINANCIAL.

I was a member of Reach Credit union for 2 years and had excellent customer service, easy online access, and financed my car through Reach at a fair interest rate. Once the bank became under new ownership, I received some free checks which was nice. However, I received a threatening letter claiming that I will be fined $2,500 so they can purchase full coverage insurance for my car. I've had the necessary requirements on my insurance policy since I bought the car in 2014. Spent about 45 minutes on the phone to clarify this issue, of which my current insurance was sufficient. The representative was very helpful. Now I received a letter that they are denying my reimbursement of the claim due to mileage inaccuracy. Absolutely ridiculous, my coverage met the qualifications in the first place! I also never authorized the purchase, and contacted them within the time frame they requested. Save yourself the hassle and bank somewhere else, I've had nothing but problems. Maybe I've had trouble due to the transitioning process, and being a new customer here might not be as inconvenient. Based on my experience I do not recommend banking with Xceed.

I'm having such a terrible experience. From the beginning it has been terrible. When I started my auto loan process, they sent me a ton of paperwork, which I filled and sent by mail, including my bank information for autopayments. I got a confirmation email but I didn't get any login info. Apparently my auto payment paperwork didn't go through but they never even contacted me. I called to try to touch bass and see when should I start paying, they told me your payment is due tomorrow. Tried to pay online, they don't allow that. Finally got it sorted out after spending a long time on the phone.

Four months later they called me to say that they added like $8,000 to my auto loan because I do not have car insurance!! I told them there is no way they would've approved me without auto insurance, they apologized for the miscommunication and removed the charges. Again after a long time on the phone.

Last but absolutely not least. They called me mid November saying that I haven't made my monthly payment and that it was being reported. I told them I've had auto payment for months and that it was completely their fault. They apologized and said they were going to fix it. Today I checked my credit report and my score dropped by 35 points because they posted a late payment on my report!!!! Are you kidding me?! Couldn't be more frustrated. I'm selling my car in March and will never ever consider them again. I strongly advice against them. Even if they didn't make those mistsakes, they're in the dark ages when it comes to technology and being online friendly.

I refinanced in August of 2015 through Xceed Financial Credit Union. I was able to cut my APR in half and the deal was easy to complete through a company I used to find the best refinance deal for me.
The paperwork all seemed normal but when I researched Xceed I noticed they seem to be based in one area and the call center seems to be outsourced completely. I figured, "Oh well, I usually handle my business online anyway so this will work out fine for me."

When my first bill came it had payment instructions I enrolled online. I'm pretty tech saavy and I could not for the life of me figure out how to pay online so I paid through the automated phone system (which by the way only works during regular business hours 9-6 Mon-Fri). I did that for August, September, October, November and December (since maiing a check came with all these crazy stipulations about how they can take a ridiculous amount of time to post the check to your account). I got an annual statement and it showed a late fee of $20 for October, November and December. I looked back at my previous statements and NONE of them showed any late fees. I was making the payments on time but the phone system I was using was taking days to post the payment to my account. It's like they just slipped them in there! I filed a complaint on the BBB and someone contacted me and removed the late fees. I also told him about the automated system only working during regular business hours and he assured me it works 24/7. To this day if you call it outside regular business hours there is no option for it. Sorry, I just find this all so inconvenient and almost shady business practice. Especially how the late fees weren't appearing until the end of the year statement... What's that about??

Anyway, I'm considering trying the online payment option because I'm tired of having the fight with their super sensitive automated payment system and paying $5 to do it. But to pay online you must either open a checking account with them or link your current checking account... I'm just still not comfortable doing that.

Overall it's not the worst experience ever but it could be better. Lesson learned I'm sticking with reputable, more well-known banks for my business. At least I'm more motivated to get it paid off now!
