We have no idea.  We have no access to your report data.  To determine the cause(s) of any scoring change you have to carefully review reports from before and after the scoring change.

Don't just blindly follow Credit Karma's suggestions.  Read up and understand how your credit reports are assessed for scoring.  If you applied for a new card then you incurred a hard pull and reduced your AAoA.  Depennding on your credit profile that may have lead to a drop in points.  Additionally, we have no idea if anything else was going on that would have impacted your scores.  That's why you need to review your reports to determine the cause(s) of the score drop.
