Seven years from the DOFD (date of first delinquency) meaning the date that you missed the first payment that led to the charge off. Rule of thumb, this date is one month after your last payment. It sounds like this account should be eligible for removal now, if it is not quite seven years yet, contact the credit bureaus and ask them for an "early exclusion" on this account. You can do some googling on "early exclusion" to learn more about it.
