We paid off our car loan but it still shows the full loan on our report. How do we get that off?

Did you pay off the loan recently? It can take one full billing cycle (or more) for the account to be reflected as closed. Your lenders only report to credit bureaus once per month. If it's been a while since you paid off the loan, you may need to dispute the item on your credit report. You'll need to do that directly though the credit bureau. You can start by getting your free credit report on Credit Karma at https://www.creditkarma.com/myfinances/creditreport. Hope that helps!
