Student Loan and Credit Score
I've been paying on my student loan now for a few years. I did miss a few payments when I first started but have since brought all payments current. That being said, why is my student loan affecting my credit so negatively?

The few late payments you made early on is what's most likely affecting your credit score. They will remain on your report for 7 years.

Late payments can significantly affect your credit score and could drop your score by nearly 100 points or more, especially if you had good credit prior to that.
