should i pay on a capital one closed account?
i noticed that capital one closed a credit card account i have. i have been making payments. since they closed the account, i have no credit data and it affected my credit score. what happens if i stop paying on that account?

if you stop paying,

You'll see your score drop even more, after about a year,  it will be sold to collection and you will have to pay it then but now your credit will be ruined for the next 7 years after its paid. 

So the answer is YES, pay all your bills.  thats called good credit management.
