Should I cancel my old Amex card or new Chase?
Hi,
I have a Amex Gold Premier (4+ years) and a Chase Sapphire Preferred (11 months). I'm currently living abroad, and I'm thinking of closing one of the accounts. Question is which one?
Amex:
Pros:
- Longer history (though it's not my oldest one).
Cons:
- More expensive.
- Not as widely accepted as Visa.

Chase:
Pros:
- Cheaper.
- Visa
Cons:
I missed the 50k sign up bonus.

So, what do you guys think? Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks in advance!

J

Why close either? Unless it is due to fees.
