Repossession Question
I had a vehicle repossessed back in May of 2010; it was included in a bankruptcy in my wief's name in February of 2011 however the repossession is just now showing up on both of our credit reports.

Is this accurate? If those types of records stay on your report for 7 years, reporting it nearly 4 years after it happens means it will ultimately be 11 years before it comes off. That doesn't seem right to me; seems that would have to report it based on the year it was repossessed, not when they got around to reporting it.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
