Public Records on my credit report
I have two public records on my credit report. One has a status of paid, and the other says filed. Both have been satisfied and released, but they do not appear that way on my credit. For the one that says filed, should I obtain copies of the court file and send them to the credit reporting agencies? Can someone explain how exactly that works, and if by changing that status from filed to paid would increase my credit score any?
