Old info on credit report
I have late payments on my credit report from 2005/2006. I thought it was erased after 7 years.

If you actually have late payments or other negative information from that long ago, dispute it with the credit bureaus right away as too old to report. Transunion, Equifax and Experian are the three credit bureaus that you will want to dispute the info with if it is shown on your reports from all of them.

Unless, perhaps, they are student loans and those do not disappear over time.
