Lost points due to fraudelent missed payment charges.
I recently had a group of fraudulent late/missed payments added to my credit report which took my score down over 100pts. I rectified it with the collector this morning, but had a couple of questions.

Since the collector removed the fraudulent information from my accounts, will I get my points back once it's the information has been updated?

Do I need to submit a direct dispute or contact equifax?

Your points should return once the collector (creditor?) corrects the record, and the bureaus put that correction in place.
