Length of stay on report
How long can accounts that are closed stay on your report? I have a couple that are 13 years old.

If those accounts have an excellent payment record, be delighted they are still present because they are to your benefit.  If they had poor payment records but are still there, you might want to dispute them due to age.  The ones you cannot dispute are student loans and unpaid taxes, no matter how long they have been there.  Those accounts may be closed but must be paid.
