Well, a reaffirmation just means you have agreed to pay the creditor until the creditor releases the asset to you. It is still a discharged debt (meaning you don't owe it), but the creditor and you have agreed to treat the long-term exchange (collateral possession and ownership for eventual payoff of the amount agreed-upon) as though it is still a valid debt. The debt is still a discharged debt, and that is what the lender will reflect in its report to the CRA.
