Is it bad to refinance an auto loan soon after buying a vehicle?
I recently purchased a vehicle and got an interest rate higher than I would like. I know I can get a lower rate if I refinance, but the dealer said to wait a few months before refinancing "because it will look bad on my credit". Is this a scare tactic to allow them to receive a kickback from the financing company or will this negatively effect my credit (other than the hard inquiry)?

Thank you!
