i'm in process of refi my home and had my credit run 2x. why i get hit 2x on credit score
I though having credit run for mortgage only affect credit once

how do you know it affected it twice? just because it showed twice, doesn't mean it hurt your score twice. all hard inquires are required to show. keep in mind, most scoring models allow for mortgage inquires within a certain amout of time to be treated as one. that doesn't mean only ONE will show up. they are all required to show up, but the model only counts them as one. also, the time frame is usually short, either 14 days or 30 days at max. so if the inquiries were two months apart, they will count as two.
