The answer to your question is that it possibly could. There are many factors that influence that, age of account, amount of available credit, etc... Very good chance it could. If you dont have to, just leave the account open and dont use it. That does more to help than closing it will. I hope this helps answer better than someone not helping on the community forum and simply telling you to read. The forum is here specifically for us to help share information. According to this other person, the community forum should not be here for people to ask questions since their answer is always a condescending tone to go read for yourself. While there are tools on CK that we should use, the community forum is to help answer questions like you asked based on our own experiences and then truly help you by pointing you in the right direction.
