If I pay off my 2 credit cards & student loan off but leave cards open how will it effect my score

Pay them off.

But don't close them. 

The biggest part of your score is the amount of open credit you have to how much you owe. The more available credit you have and how long you have had those accounts open count toward raising your score.  So unless they charge you an annual fee, don't close them. 

Ideally you want to accumulate enough open credit accounts to equal a years salary. but never owe more that a months salary. Of course there will be times when you might owe more but be aware that you want to get it back down ASAP.
