If I am just an authorized signer on credit cards does that affect my credit?

Yes it will even though some say it won't. It doesn't affect it as much as the actual signer but it does affect it.

Unless it has changed again the link below should explain it. Keep in mind experian and transunion do not issue real fico scores and may reflect the authorized card in the score.
