I receive a pension for retirement, yet it doesn't show on my credit report as income. Why is that?

Hi prinks,

Your credit report does not include information about salary. This is because salary is not a factor in your credit score. Your credit score consists of information regarding how you repay your debts. Of course, lenders will also consider your income as a factor when making a lending decision.

Here on Credit Karma, your income is self-reported. If you'd like to adjust yours to reflect your pension, you can do so here: https://www.creditkarma.com/myprofile/personal

Hope that helps!
