i paid off tax liens and it states paid but reflects negative
paid Ga Rev and sent ltrs to all 3 bureau they reflect as negative/paid it is just bureaus keeping it on their records how can i get them to remove this

Sorry, but it will remain for at least 7 years, possibly 10 since it was a government charge.  In the meantime, keep all of your bills, including taxes, paid on time and pay them off as soon as possible.  A good payment history from this point forward will help your credit rating as time passes.

Yes it was owed to the govt, how they sent me a letter in writing that they did not turn this in to the bureaus and if they had they would send bureaus a letter but cannot ask for a removal since they did not place it with the bureau.  Now again why does the bureau have that right?  I never owed the bureau anything and when talking to them they state there is not negative all is paid so in any case if a creditor put something on once i paid it they took it off, so why and more the question should they have the right since the state sent me this ltr seems the bureaus have more rights than the person that you actually owed and it should not be, i am going to my congressman with this
