bankruptcy

Since you filed a bankruptcy last year it would be hard to find a lender to refinance. The bankruptcy will stay with you for ten years. And you really don't want to apply for alot of credit to be turned down to lower what score you have left. Maybe if you talk to the lawyer you filed the bankruptcy with they might be able help you.

7 or 13? if you're still in BK 13 repayment, you'll need to get the courts permission to take on any new debt.
