Try for a secured card.

The best way to start building credit when no one will give you any is to get a secured credit card.  For that, you'll have to open an account at the issuers bank and deposit a specified amount of money.  Then you will have a credit card (make sure the bank issues one with either a Visa or MasterCard logo) that you can use and repay.  The credit limit will be quite modest, but it's a start and is better than not having any chance for a credit card.
