How much does student loan debt affect your credit score?
My student loans,$75K, are the only major debt I have on my credit report, which is 633 on CreditKarma. If I aggressively worked on paying my student loans off would it increase my credit score by 100 points?

Hi,

to answer your question, no paying off large amounts of student loan does not help raise your credit score unfortunately. I paid off forty thousand of my seventy thousand dollar loan in December.  The heartbreaking truth came a month later when I checked my credit scores and not one single one budged a single point! unreal! I know!
