how long does it take to remove bankruptcy from credit history
and who do you call to be taken off, its been 7 years already and I still see it on my record.

...what previous poster said, but to clarify a bit: For Chapter 7 it stays on for 10 years after you have it granted. For Chapter 13, it stays on for 10 years after the court appoints a trustee for your case (usually that means it stays on for an additional five years after your Ch. 13 is discharged if you have a five-year plan. Call it 7 years after if you get a 3-year plan.)
