How do you increase your credit limits on your credit cards?
Does it naturally increase overtime or do you have to request it? If natural increase, how do you induce it?

credit card issuers will rase you credit limit based on your usage and payment history. This will happen over time.  You also have the option of requesting a credit line increase CLI.  If you do request a CLI the credit card issuer will do a hard inquire.

I did a few CLI this year,  my paypal visa from 2500 to 5000,  carecredit from 4200 to 7000.

also from all my reading Capital One does not take any CLI requests.  so you will get a hard inquire on your report and gain nothing.

Hope that helps,

Good Luck.
