Closed accounts in itself isn't grounds for removal from your credit reports, as its history should remain on your credit reports for at least 7 years from Date Of First Delinquency, if it has lates or it's been charged-off, or it's in collections and longer for certain types of delinquent accounts, if it's closed in good standing? It usualy remains on your reports for upto 10 years from Date of closing... If any of your closed accounts reached such age? Simply file a dispute with each Credit Bureaus either on-line or by phone.
