Report or Credit Score?

You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report from each of the three agencies annually - TransUnion, Experian & Equifax.  To do, you can either contact the agencies separately by phone, mail or online services or you can go through www.annualcreditreport.com and click a request for one from each.  Two things to be aware of:  if you go through the link, you will receive your credit reports in full but your credit scores will not be attached.  Secondly, the bureaus themselves can be a pain in the *** by trying to sell you memberships.  Thus my boyfriend always chooses to send them a request in writing so he doesn't have to put up with being given a hard sell.

If you want your actual credit scores or Fico scores, then those you pay for most of the time. Your Fico would be found at Myfico.com.  Your CRA scores can be found at multiple other sites but the most accurate and closest to your fico would be through the actually agency itself.  Experian, however, does not give out your true credit score.  So even more so, in this case, your Fico would give you the closest indication as to your true ranking with Experian.
