How can I find out the collections agencies I owe so I can start paying them?

If you are not currently hearing from a collection agency (they are known for being exceedingly persistent) then they are likely not your accounts.

First thing to do is go to annualcreditreport.com and get copies of all 3 credit bureau reports.  Look over them thoroughly and file disputes on all errors (if you don't knokw who it is, it's an error) with the credit bureau reporting same.  They are supposed to investigate and either verify or delete the error.

From now on, make it a habit to check your credit reports every year to make sure all information is correct.
