First off, you should understand various items that may save you a lot of money, such as Statute of Limitations on Collections and negotiating a 'pay for delete' agreement with a creditor.  Those topics are covered in the articles here since the focus of Credit Karma is to TEACH people how credit works and how to build their score.  Then, you can go to annualcreditreport.com, get copies of all three credit reports and you should find all creditor information there.  THEN you can determine if it is better to pay the debt or let it drop off your report.
