Hi tobythethird,

Your credit report will automatically be updated by your lender, but it may take a month or so. You cannot update this information on your credit report yourself. Thanks for your patience!

Unless you obtained something in writing from the creditor stating they'll remove the account once paid, then it will still show up on your credit report, but as a closed & paid account instead of open.  It will remain on your report for 7 years from date you paid it off.  Just an FYI.
