Goodwill letter approved or denied why? Who says so? Your thoughts.
Keeping it short.
When asked why my goodwill adjustment was denied rep had no answer.
Said committee decided.
I feel there was no committee in this case.
How can a business "fairly" decide who gets a second chance?

Would like to hear others thoughts and experience on this topic.

Capital One in this case. Please note who you had experience with, if any.

Capital One is known to be very strict with this and will usually always deny "goodwill requests". As far as the "deciding fairly" deal, I would say that it is completely up to them on who they would be willing to help out as they are not obligated to help any.
