debt sold to collections, can i remove the original debtor?
can an original debt sold to a collection agency be removed from my credit score? ex. Capitol one charged off the acct and sold it to ABC collections, can I have Capitol One removed?

Sorry. Part of your history.

It doesn't matter who acquires/purchases an account.  What does matter is that the account exists and every owner of the account has to be reported (Fair Credit Reporting Act--a federal regulation).

Nothing on your credit reports that is actually YOURS can be removed.  It will have to drop off in due time, usually 7 years.
