Hard to say exactly

A lot will depend on the other info on your report. A repo will result in the account being reported as uncollected/Repo.  That will stay on your report for 7 years. You'll be out from under the debt, but will have a negitive impact on your report. and you probably won't be able to qualify for an auto or personal loan until falls off your report.

You'd be better off trying to sell the vehicle your self and paying off the loan

Good Luck

I wouldn't say that they would be out from under the debt. The can still be sued for the balance left after the car is sold at auction or whatnot.
