Credit card changed name -- why the huge ding on my score?
Looks like one of my gas cards the hubby uses (Phillips 76/Citibank) changed its reporting name. So now my score looks like I closed an account with a $650 limit, and opened a new account with a $700 limit AND have a $13 balance on the "new" account.

So, why would a card changing the name it reports under ding my credit score 20+ points? Shouldn't the score take into consideration changes like this?
