Collection Accounts on Transunion vs. Equifax
I have slowly been rebuilding my damaged credit and following my Transunion and Equifax reports weekly. Both reports had identical collection accounts. However, some of the collection accounts on the Equifax reports (that are also on the Transunion report) are beginning to drop off and they have NOT reached the 7 year point yet. Why are collection accounts that are on both Equifax AND Transuion reports and NOT YET 7 years old, coming off the Equifax report, but not the Transunion? I not have a huge score variation- I'm at 670 w/ Transunion and 742 with Equifax. The scores were within 15 points of each other PRIOR to the changes with Equifax.
