With many lenders the answer will be yes, but you need to research this for your lender. I would actually consider holding out for six months and apply for an unsecured card with this lender or check around now with other lenders for an unsecured card. Most credit card companies have preapprovals on their websites so you could check them. Keep in mind that not all credit card companies have accurate preapprovals though, some do, some don't, that is something you will need to research.
